2014 CMA Fest: Nightly Concerts at LP Field Recap – Day 2

2014+CMA+Festival+Day+2+zDd_GT-N1InlThe 2014 CMA Music Festival continues with a star-studded lineup at LP Field on Friday evening (June 5) in Nashville, Tenn.

Night 2 included performances by Travis Tritt, Eric ChruchThe Band Perry, Jason AldeanMiranda Lambert, and Blake Shelton.

Travis Tritt opened the show performing  hits such as “Trouble” and “It’s A Great Day to be Alive.”

Country music fans rocked out to Eric Church‘s performance. Opening with “The Outsiders,” Eric knew how to keep the fans satisfied for the night. Other songs Eric performed included   “Cold One” and “That’s Damn Rock & Roll” — a special duet with Lzzy Hale from Halestrom.

The Band Perry threw the house down with an epic performance of their single “DONE.”, their own rendition of Pitbull and Ke$ha’s “Timber,” and their GRAMMY hit, “If I Die Young.”

Jason Aldean was the next artist to hit the stage. His set included “Take a Little Ride,” “She’s Country,” “When She Says Baby” and a duet with fellow Georgianand LP Field performer Travis Tritt on “Homesick.”

It was then time for Miranda Lambert to take the stage. The 30-year-old entertainer performed songs such as “Mama’s Broken Heart,” and “Automatic.” Lambert also performed “Little Red Wagon” and “Fastest Girls In Town.” Last but not least, Carrie Underwood made a surprise appearance to perform her duet with Miranda titled “Something Bad.”

Blake Shelton closed the second night of festivities with hits such as “Doin’ What She Likes” and “Sure Be Cool If You Did.” The 37-year-old entertainer went way back to the start to sing his first No. 1, “Austin,” before getting a few thousand happy people to sing along with “Boys ’Round Here.”
