2014 CMA Fest: Nightly Concerts at LP Field Recap – Day 3

2014+CMA+Festival+Day+3+7QyUltdEqG5lThe 2014 CMA Music Festival continues with a star-studded lineup at LP Field on Saturday evening (June 7) in Nashville, Tenn.

Night 3 included performances by Sara EvansLittle Big Town, Darius RuckerFlorida Georgia Line, and Keith Urban. Chris Young cancelled his performance due to a kitchen knife accident that needed surgery.

Sara Evans opened the show performing hit after hit including “Born To Fly,” “As If,” “A Little Bit Stronger,” “Slow Me Down,” and “A Real Place to Start.”

Little Big Town followed Sarah Evans with the drum-banging hit “Little White Church.” Other songs the band performed throughout their set included “Tornado,” “Day Drinkin’,” “Boondocks,” and “Pontoon.”

Darius Rucker pumped up the crowd by performing “Alright,” “This,” “Radio,” and “Comeback Song.” Darius also touched back on his days as the frontman for Hootie & the Blowfish by performing “I Only Wanna Be With You” before leading the audience in a chorus of the Old Crow Medicine Show hit that took him to the top of the charts, “Wagon Wheel.”

Florida Georgia Line was the next artist to hit the stage. The duo lit up the gloomy night by kicking off their set rapping to “It’z Just What We Do.” Band members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelly performed fan favorites such as “Round Here,” “Shine On”, and their smash hit, “Cruise.” Florida Georgia Line also performed their current single “This Is How We Roll” on the LP Field stage. Unfortunately, Luke Bryan was not on-site to perform the track with the band.

Keith Urban closed the third night of festivities with hits such as “Long Hot Summer” and “We Were Us.” The 46-year-old entertainer brought out special guests Karen Fairchild from Little Big Town and Florida Georgia Line to perform “We Are Us” and “You Gonna Fly” respectively.
