And that’s a wrap for the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards! The biggest event for families featured a star-studded lineup of performers and presenters as well as a red carpet that you don’t want to miss! Here at Celeb Secrets, we always love to see what our favorites are wearing on the red carpet of our favorite events!
Now here you have it, our Best and Worst Dressed Celebs, 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards style.
Sofia Carson always keeps it elegant and simple when it comes to the red carpet. Keeping this look simple for the music was the right choice. She added some elegance with the side swept hair, and some fun with the metallic heels!
I’ve been loving the crop top look this spring, if you know how to dress it up! Veronica Dunne pulled off one of my favorite looks of the day. I love her style and this is exactly why. She paired a simple crop top with a funky jacket and flattering high-waisted dress pants. She paired it perfectly with a black choker, which is the “new flower crown”, according to Taylor Swift.
Another great look of the night, much like Veronica Dunne’s, but more spring looking is Ashlee Keating. Ashlee paired her crop top perfectly with a formal matching red short suit set that pops on the carpet. Elegant, fun, and laid-back is the way to go on this carpet!
Isabela Moner went for a more mature look on the carpet, although this look doesn’t always work for many, she definitely pulled off this look with a ton of confidence. I love the matching, neutral, pant suit set paired with the neutral heels. She made the outfit fun with her small hair braided side and her open slits on the the bottom of her pants!
The only guy on my list, and for good reason, Jordan Fisher pulled of the perfect look for this red carpet! This red carpet is more casual atmosphere, but you can still dress it up. Jordan Fisher did just that with his casual, dressed up look! It just worked, but he could have finished ironing his clothes a little more before he hit the carpet. We still love you Fisher!
Sabrina Carpenter’s dress is all over the place from the stars on the top, to the blue mid-section, to the jellyfish tentacles at the bottom of the dress. The dress is not flattering and there is too many things going on at once.
DNCE is known for their funky looks and their funky sounds, as much as it works on stage the looks on the red carpet don’t mesh well together. There is too many different looks going on at once. They need to coordinate on their color scheme or just their overall looks.
I know Alessia Cara is known for her powerful voice and her laid-back look, which I love, but you can still have a cute laid back look for the carpet. If she would have dressed up with some high-waisted dress pants and some heels, take off the hair tie on her arm this look would have totally worked.
Looks like Skai Jackson tried to go for a more mature look with a pop of color, but it didn’t fully work. The shoes would have worked with a more solid color outfit then a printed one. If there wasn’t matching print on the top and on the bottom of her outfit, this would have worked so much better. Good try!
Megan Nicole is always known for her standout outfits, but this time around it unfortunately didn’t work. This looks like a maid costume, instead of a cute formal black tie dress. I was really looking forward to her showing her best Gold Ardy colored dress!
