2018 Latin American Music Awards: Celeb Secrets’ Winner Predictions

While we’re only a few weeks away from Latin music’s biggest night, everyone at Celeb Secrets Country is already talking about who will be at the 2018 Latin American Music Awards this year.

Announced last month, it was revealed that Ozuna and J Balvin top the list of nominees with nine nominations each. Close behind is Nicky Jam with eight, Daddy Yankee with six, and Luis Fonsi, Shakira, among others with four each. You can view the full list of nominees here.

We must say, the competition is HOT this year. With so many talented artist in each category, it’ll be interesting to see who actually takes home the big W on October 25th!

Yikes! Can this category get more difficult? It is SO hard to pick who will win Artist of the Year since all these artists are absolutely killing the game right now! But we have a feeling this is Ozuna‘s year and will take home this award. The reggaeton singer is simply unstoppable with all this latest hits, not to mention his countless collaborations with artists like Cardi B, Daddy Yankee, and Bad Bunny to name a few.

Although all these solid contenders had phenomenal career debuts this year, we think this category is all Bad Bunny! Not only has the Latin trap king taken over the Latin urban scene, but his party smash “I Like It” with Cardi B and J Balvin climbed to No.1 in the country. His crossover talent will definitely win him this category!

All of these songs dominated our playlists all year long so this category is definitely a close call. But Beyoncé‘s remix to “Mi Gente” sent shock waves across the Latin world when she released the multi-cultural hit. There’s no doubt it is the biggest song of the year!
