The 89th Academy Awards aired live on ABC tonight (February 26), bringing together our favorite onscreen stars.

Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the show was held at Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Calif. and honored big-name movies including La La Land, Suicide Squad, Moonlight, and more.

Celeb Secrets had an eye on the red carpet and we came up with our best and worst dressed list for this year’s award show.

Here we go!

BEST DRESSED

Halle Berry: Does this woman ever age? This Versace dress fit her perfectly, and we love the surprise at the bottom with the fringe-like train.

Hailee SteinfeldEverything about this Ralph and Russo Couture look is beautiful. From the slicked-back up-do to the pop of color on the floral patterns – Hailee stunned.

Olivia Culpo: No wonder she won Miss USA back in 2012. Olivia’s stunning beauty was a great match for this timeless and classy look.

Chrissy Teigen: That’s one hot mama! Chrissy wowed in Zuhair Murad and proved you can never go wrong with a white and gold combo.

John Legend: The man looks so good in a tux, we almost wonder if he invented them.

Taraji P. Hensen: The fall velvet trend has never looked better than on Taraji in this Alberta Ferretti gown. Not to mention – that necklace alone was enough to steal the show!

Charlize TheronThe high slit and low neckline were in Charlize’s favor as she looked as regal as ever in this Dior gown

WORST DRESSED

Dakota JohnsonWith a sequel at the box office, we expected more from the 50 Shades Darker star. While the dress was a nice contrast to her dark hair color, it did nothing to flatter her figure.

Leslie Mann: For a Zac Posen design, this one was a disappointment. The top is a great fit on Leslie, but something about the bottom throws us off.

Kirsten Dunst: Black gowns with a red lip are classic at awards shows, but this Dior gown was a little too plain a match for Kirsten’s stunning necklace and classic make up.

Nicole Kidman: We love the bold red lip contrast on Nicole’s fair skin, but this dress color wasn’t a bold enough match.

Jessica Biel: This gold tone and powerful necklace look great on Jessica. But the cutouts make this dress feel unfinished.
