A new documentary about a day in the life of Rihanna is coming soon!
Peter Berg, the creator of Friday Night Lights, is set to direct the Rihanna documentary. The Barbados singer made her major film debut in Berg’s 2012 action thriller Battleship and apparently made quite the impression on him.
Berg’s production company Film 45 revealed that the documentary will focus on the star’s rise to fame and what goes on behind the scenes.
“Follow this true international superstar as she navigates life as an artist, businesswoman, and humanitarian, while contending with the inherent pressure of artistic freedom. Peter Berg’s “Rihanna” is an unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon, providing a glimpse into the evolution of one of the world’s most well-known pop artists.” said in a statement from Film 45
No word on when it will premiere but we will keep you posted as new information surfaces.
The superstar is currently traveling the world on her “ANTI World Tour”. Her single “Work” (14th No.1), remains at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charr for the eight week in a row, tying her with The Beatles for the second most total weeks at No. 1.
