With only one day ’till the new season premieres, CS4U is giving you the breakdown on what you can expect from season two straight from Sebastian himself, Alex Aiono!
If you aren’t familiar with the show already, , presented by Royal Caribbean, follows Desi (Meg DeAngelis) that boards a cruise for a summer vacation with her cousin and runs into a guy that she instantly likes (Alex Aiono). However, her cousin also runs into him and creates a connection with him. Their adventurous journey to find love is difficult, and creates an extremely interesting vacation that could possibly last forever.
In season two, Desi (DeAngelis) and Sebastian (Aiono) take a cruise to the Caribbean for a romantic vacation. Just when they think their relationship is going strong, Sebastian’s ex, Harlowe (Aspyn Ovard) boards the ship and changes everything.
CS4U caught up with Alex Aiono, who plays Sebastian on the series to talk all things Royal Crush! In our interview, Alex tells us what we can expect from season two of Royal Crush, the love triangle between Sebastian, his current girlfriend Desi and his ex-girlfriend Harlowe, what its like filming on a cruise and why you should tune in every Sunday for a new episode. Alex also talked about his new music and his secret talent — read the Q&A below to find out what it is!

CS4U: What can you tell us about season 2 of Royal Crush?
Alex Aiono: “Oh boy, get ready for a lot of confusion a lot of emotion, and a lot of misunderstandings! At the same time, however, get ready for a lot of beautiful shots since we shot in the Caribbean. I would say get excited to see the old crew back at it.”
CS4U: Season 1 of Royal Crush was viewed by over 8 million people — what is it like being apart of such a successful web series?
Alex Aiono: “It’s one of those things that really is life changing. Royal Crush gave me a great platform to build fans off and connect with them. Even to this day, I have people who come up to me and say ‘hey you’re Sebastian from Royal Crush’ and how they enjoyed the show. It was such an amazing opportunity to be a part of something so fun and successful.”
CS4U: What is it like filming on a ship? What is working with the cast like?
Alex Aiono: “Filming on the ship was incredible! Royal Crush was my first opportunity to act, so at that time I didn’t know what acting on the floor was but on the ship it was fun. I’ve been on a couple of cruises before hand so it was nothing new. Getting to work on it and not having to pay for everything was so much fun.
The cast is amazing. Mikey, Aspyn, Josh, Kerry, and especially Meg, are such loving, kind people. They’re so bubbly and nice, which made it so much easier to act. It was almost as if we didn’t have to act cause we were such great friends and we could simply just have fun with it.”
CS4U: What’s going on with Sebastian and Desi this season?
Alex Aiono: “Oh well Sebastian’s girlfriend Harlowe is on the boat along with Desi and it throws a small wrench into Sebastian and Desi’s idea of the perfect vacation of getting to spend time together. The relationship between Sebastian and Harlowe makes it confusing for Desi to figure out if she and Sebastian are rekindling an old flame or if they are just friends.”
CS4U: If you could sail anywhere this summer, where would you go?
Alex Aiono: “I would love to go on one of those Alaskan cruises just because it’s a place I’ve never been before.”
CS4U: Do you have any upcoming projects you can share with us?
Alex Aiono: “I’ve been working a lot on my music. If you watch Royal Crush, they play a lot of the music I’ve already put out, but I’ve been working on music recently so hopefully you guys can hear some of that.”
CS4U: Why do you think our readers should tune in to season two of Royal Crush this month?
Alex Aiono: “I think the readers should tune in because its simply fun, and is a fun light-hearted series that has a lot of emotional tension and a lot of exciting shots. Season 2 brings the same excitement.”
CS4U: Since our website is called CelebSecrets4U, do you have any secrets or hidden talents your fans might not know about?
Alex Aiono: “I like to throw things in the air and catch things in my mouth, like a fruit snack or give the fruit snacks to a friend and run across the room and catch them. Honestly, we all bonded during season 1 by throwing a plate of Goldfish into our mouths to see if we could catch them.”
