Teen pop’s Southern California sweetheart, Amanda Lamb, is set to release her second single and video, “Without You” from her six-part multimedia project March 1st. Each release from the six-part series narrates the different experiences of young love and includes a song, a short chapter, and a video to correspond.
“Without You”, produced by Wayne Miller, tells the story of a girl who misses her love while she travels the world; a more somber tone to that of the smitten “Starcrossed Heartbeat”, the first release from the series. In the midst of visiting a song writing expo, Amanda was inspired to write and pulled from her own personal encounters to co-write the honest lyrics for “Without You” with Miller and in just 40 minutes. The song starts with minor guitar harmonies that accompany her smooth soprano vocals throughout the song. Her heart-felt lyrics are weighted with emotion and the harmonies from musicians James Bowen and Miller only give the song a bigger, fuller sound. Amanda is able to depict an innocent love story for her younger audience through her lyrical charisma all while giving a stellar vocal performance. The songstress will release a new chapter from her project once every eight weeks with the last chapter premiering November 2012.
