Dancing With the Stars Season 21 Finale aired LIVE on ABC from Los Angeles.
The finale kicked off with a Christmas themed dance number featuring this seasons constants which took place LIVE at the grove in LA.
Leaving off last night with Nick & Sharna and Bindi & Derek tied for 1st place on the leader board leaving Alek & Lindsay at the bottom.
The first half of the night consisted of a look back of what happened throughout the season. Bringing each celebrity back along with their partners to perform some of their favorite dances of the seasons. Including, Kim Zolskiac & Artem, Paula Deen and Louis, Gary Busey and Ana, Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas, Victor Espinoza and Karina, Andy Grammer and Allison, Hayes Grier and Emma, and Chaka Khan and Keo.
With performances from Shaka Khan who performed her iconic hit “I’m Every Women”, Andy Grammer “Good to be Alive” and Nick Carter through out the night.
The second half of the night started the Fusion challenge for the remaining contestants. Adding to their overall score of the week.
Nick Carter and Sharna were given a Salsa/Tango fusion. A sexy and fiesty dance including lifts and tricks. Leaving a lasting impression on the judges and the season! 30 for the night making their total 90 all together.
Alek and Lindsay took on a Rumba/Tango Fusion to Coldplay’s “Sky Full of Stars”. Beautiful movements and elegantly executed. The duo pulled together 27 for the night leaving them with 84 for the week.
Bindi Irwin and Derek performed a Argentine Tango/Cha Cha fusion. There is no doubt that Bindi continues to showcase how talented she is. This dance was truly fun and engaging and gives her all. At this point she has become a pro within her own right. The Judges gave her 30 for the night which added to her total to make it 90.
This season of Dancing With the Stars has been full of action and has been exciting to tune into every week. Can’t wait to tune in next season!
