The Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Hollywood is the home for an array of Oscar winners including Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and many more among the hundredths of figures.. But in 2014 the Museum will launch 12 new figures in 12 months which is a first for the attraction.
Madame Tussauds has just unveiled the wax figure of an actress who has won countless awards for her performances on the big screen. She won an Oscar last year for best supporting actress for her role in Les Miserables and this year she returned to the Oscars as the presenter for the Academy Awards. Yes! we’re talking about the one and only Anne Hathaway! She is the second figure to be launched this year out of the 12 that will launch by the end of 2014.
It was her role as ‘Mia’ in The Princess Diaries back in 2001 when Anne Hathaway captivated us all in the big screen. Her figure is rocking a stunning black floor length gown and shinny jewelry. Anne’s figure took about 20 skilled artists to work for three months to create at a cost of about $300,000.
