The red carpet at the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards was certainly star-studded last night (January 8th).
Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, many of Hollywood’s elite were in attendance, including Ryan Gosling, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Brie Larson, Leonardo DeCaprio, Casey Affleck, and Donald Glover to name a few.
Everyone was dressed in their finest clothes from top designers and looked absolutely stunning. Others… well not too much.
Check out our list of best and worst dressed ladies at the Golden Globes below. Make sure to catch all the red carpet looks here.
Kristen Bell looks absolutely beautiful in all black. She shows the right amount of cleavage with a top that resembles a suit, with just the right about of shimmer to make it sparkle on the red carpet. Her hair is paired perfectly, looking very old Hollywood.
Emma Stone is literally a star in this dress, a perfect dressed for a star studded event. She paired it perfectly with simple silver jewelry and an up hairdo. The back was breathtaking, having a number of stars holding her dress together. Can we borrow this dress Emma Stone?
Brie Larson stepped out in a beautiful red dress, resembling Jessica Rabbit. Paired perfectly with old style Hollywood waves, a wine colored lip, and minimal jewelry. Forget the red carpet, keep your eyes on her!
Lily Collins wins my favorite best dressed of the night. The detail in this dress is something out of a fairytale, all the way to the top where the flowers become her. A beautiful color on her, matched perfectly with her nude nails, red lips, and her braided up-do. Speechless.
Mandy Moore looked stunning in a floor length, sheer, black dress. She made this red carpet look effortless and elegant. It seems the carpet was popular with front cleavage and minimal jewelry, and we’re not complaining.
Maisie Williams looked like a real life princess, a modern Belle if you want to be more specific. The yellow dress with a train looked beautiful on her. It was elegant without being overpowering.
Janelle Monae looks like she’s auditioning for Cruella De Vil. She looks like the dress Cruella designed if she would have gotten her hands on those puppies in 101 dalmatians.
Felicity Jones, we love you, but this was the wrong decision. Felicity looks like one of those glass dolls one of your relatives gives you when you were younger. The top and the bow look too kiddish for this lavish red carpet.
Emily Ratajkowski did not stun on the red carpet. Yellow was a staple at this carpet, but not only does this color not work for Emily, but she looks like a peeled banana with a tie.
Jessica Biel, we loved the top, but the bottom is not a good look for you. Biel could have rocked this look with a pantsuit or jumpsuit style. The bottom looks like it doesn’t belong and looks a little like a table cloth.
Karrachue Tran fell as one of our worst dressed for several reasons. Tran’s dress looks like a pink, reusable bridesmaid ensemble. The color does not work well with the carpet, and looks like the bottom is detachable. The jewelry was too overwhelming and her hair looks like it took two seconds. Sorry Karrachue, maybe next time.
