It is officially award season, and we’ve been overwhelmed with all things fashion, nominees, and the awards themselves.
Last week, on January 18th, I got to attend the People’s Choice Awards 2017 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California with my assistant Zoe – and it was just what you expected it to be, star-studded.

We got to the event; packed with fans, talent, and press from the beginning of the carpet to the very end. The carpet was a bright red covered by a tent, being prepared just in case a little rain fell down. Unfortunately it was a very cold night in Los Angeles, but that didn’t stop nominees, presenters, and even winners from showing some skin, and dressing to impress.

The vibe of the carpet was different from others I’ve attended; it was very free-spirited! The carpet was loud from the chaos of the press trying to talk to your favorite talent; but most importantly from the talent walking around reuniting with one another, catching up and taking photos. There was a Fuller House reunion that brought down the house! And when Cameron Dallas came out, fans were getting wild and we thought we were about to see an episode of Chasing Cameron.
There was more freedom in this carpet to dress how you want, act like yourself, and really show your true personality. This event really is all about the people and the talent showed that by not only showing their excitement, but by taking photos and acknowledging as many fans as possible.
We got to chat with so much talent, including Favorite Youtube Star Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, the men from Fuller House – Juan Pablo Di Pace, John Brotherton, and Scott Weinger; as well as many favorites from new and old shows! All talent were extremely thankful for their fans, expressing their love for an award show that is voted by the people.
