BLUSH, the first-ever Pan-Asian “girl power” group who has toured internationally with such noted artists as Justin Beiber, B.o.B., Black Eyed Peas, Jesse J and Snoop Dogg, just released their new ALL-ANIMATEDmusic video titled “Electric.”
BLUSH, representing five Asian countries, has already gained an international following with its powerful vocals, exotic flair and standout performance skills. The girls of BLUSH have travelled all over the world to perform on the tours of Justin Bieber, Jessie J, B.o.B., Diana Ross, Far East Movement and the Black Eyed Peas. Their U.S. television debut was on the American So You Think You Can Dance stage with Snoop Dogg. BLUSH charted #1 on the Billboard Dance Chartwith their hit titled “Dance On” and also charted with their collaboration with Snoop titled “Undivided” — standing alone as the only Asian group to ever have their first two singles hit Top 10 on a major U.S. chart. BLUSH is also the fastest of any Asian artist to hit #1 on a major U.S. chart, and is also the first to have both singles hit the Top 3.
The song “Electric” was produced by DEEKAY and the video was directed by Pat Lee, a professional artist for more than 20 years. The unique music video is a one-of-a-kind visually stimulating animated piece of art, fused with the fun, pop sounds of BLUSH. Lee has lent his creative edge to such such comic book titles as Marvel comics mega-franchises IRON MAN, X-MEN/FANTASTIC FOUR, WOLVERINE, PUNISH and SPIDERMAN He has also worked on such titled as STAR WARS, TEENAGE MUTANT NINA TURTLES, DEVIL MAY CRY and TRANSFORMERS. He is known internationally for bringing an anime influenced hybrid style to the North American comic market and hit the #1 artist on the Top 10 “Hottest Artist” list in Wizard Magazine. He has also worked with Hasbro and Mattel, to name a few, in developing their brands.
The video was also produced by a legendary heavy hitter in Asia’s film studios, Lloyd Chao – credited with helping launch the careers of such icons as Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles. He also helped build two Yes TV channels “Goal TV” and “ASN – All Sports Network” which now reachs more than 200 million homes in 14 Asian countries.
