International pop group BLUSH has just released the official club mix video for their latest track “Dance On.” The new high-energy song is the follow-up to their debut single, “Undivided” which climbed the Billboard Dance/Club Play charts to #3. “Dance On” is on the same course, having already broken into the Top 20 on the chart. Both songs will be featured on the group’s upcoming debut EP, due out this Spring.
Filmed on location at San Francisco’s famed nightclub The Crib with director Jeremy Manning, the video showcases BLUSH–Victoria, Natsuko, Angeli, Ji Hae and Alisha–performing the electric WAWA remix of “Dance On” to a packed crowd. Check out the video here: http://youtu.be/ITDIwWsgjKg.
BLUSH bridge the gap between pop, dance, and hip-hop as shown on “Dance On,” which features propulsive, thumping beats as the foreground for BLUSH’s powerfully seductive vocals. The infectious song showcases each girl’s strong singing prowess and individuality as well as their cohesive, tight harmonies. “Dance On” was recorded last year at This Music Studio in Hong Kong. It was produced by Steve Schnur, Darrell Brown and Wolverine and was mixed by Wolverine. This unique WAWA remix was produced by Wictor Mysliwiec and Michal Bojanowicz for Peace Bisquit (www.peacebisquit.com).
“Dance On” comes at the end of an exciting 2011 for BLUSH who started the year opening for Justin Bieber in Asia, then arrived in the U.S. just in time to perform “Undivided” on FOX’s wildly popular “So You Think You Can Dance” show. The successes of 2011 also lead to an opening slot performance for the Black Eyed Peas in Manila (Philippines), an appearance at Girltopia (a Los Angeles event celebrating 100 years of the Girl Scouts) and a tour of high schools and middle schools in the Southwest.
Together the girls represent China, Japan, Korea, India and the Philippines, and BLUSH now divide their time between their home base of Hong Kong and their adopted Los Angeles hometown. They bring together five distinct cultures within one incomparable sound.
