Remember when we met up with Cailee Rae a few months ago? In our interview, the 16-year-old mentioned that she would be releasing new music, and we’re finally getting a taste of it!
This afternoon, Cailee Rae released the audio and music video for her song “Anchor.” The song itself is about not letting anything tie you down, whether it’s a person, yourself, or a situation.
The music video, however, is a visual representation of not letting your inner thoughts or demons hold you back. All of the elements in the video are 3D representations of things that hold you back — including chains, being submerged underwater, and color powder / smoke representing emotions.  As Cailee goes through the video, the chains come undone, etc — all showing Cailee being released and be empowered.
