Casey Abrams Set To Release Self Titled Debut Album June 26th

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and American Idol season 10 finalist Casey Abrams is set to release his self titled debut album on June 26th through Concord Music Group.  Recorded in London with such acclaimed producers as Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, KT Tunstall), Rune Westberg (Daughtry, Adam Lambert) and Steve Jordan (John Mayer, Herbie Hancock), and Executive Produced by American Idol’s Randy Jackson, Concord Records’ John Burk and 19 Entertainment’s Iain Pirie,Casey Abrams will feature two initial singles, “Get Out,” and “Simple Life,” which will be released on iTunes as a bundle on June 5th.  The album will also feature a cover of the Ray Charles classic “Hit The Road Jack,” with fellow American Idol alum Haley Reinhart.  Fans can pre order their copy of Casey Abrams now at Amazon and can get a free download of “Simple Life” at Caseyabramsmusic.tumblr.com.

 

“I’m so glad to be a part of this thing called music, and I am thrilled people are going to be able to take this musical journey with me” said Abrams of his upcoming release.

 

Abrams was a standout finalist on American Idol season 10 thanks to his distinctively original voice and musical ability.  The 21-year-old can play a staggering 11 musical instruments by ear and was classically trained on the stand up bass.
