Choice Country Song (#ChoiceCountrySong): Kelsea Ballerini – “Peter Pan”; Florida Georgia Line, “H.O.L.Y”; Sam Hunt – “Make You Miss Me”; Brad Paisley feat. Demi Lovato, “Without a Fight”; Blake Shelton feat. Gwen Stefani, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”; Carrie Underwood, “Church Bells”

Who We Think Will Win: Country music fan or not, everyone enjoys good music when they hear it. Out of all the songs listed, I have to say that my favorite is “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”. Not only are the lyrics lovely, but hearing Blake Shelton’s and Gwen Stefani’s vocals melt together is magical in its own. I just can’t get over how adorable they are!

Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Song (#ChoiceRBHipHopSong): Iggy Azalea – “Team”; Desiigner – “Panda”; Drake – “One Dance” (feat. Wizkid & Kyla); “Empire” Cast – “Chasing The Sky” (feat. Terrence Howard, Jussie Smollett and Yazz); Rihanna – “Work” (feat. Drake); Zendaya – “Something New” (feat. Chris Brown)

Who We Think Will Win: The song that completely dominated the hip-hop chart would have to be Rihanna’s “Work”. Even though we have no idea what she’s actually saying, it’s groovy and upbeat. No matter where you were or what you were doing, you couldn’t escape this song this summer.

Choice Rock Song (#ChoiceRockSong): Empire Of The Sun – “Walking On a Dream”; Fitz and the Tantrums – “HandClap”; 5 Seconds of Summer – “Jet Black Heart”; Elle King – “America’s Sweetheart”; OneRepublic – “Wherever I Go”; twenty one pilots – “Stressed Out”

Who We Think Will Win: The nominees listed here have all done well in my eyes, but the one song that I feel did better than the rest is 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Jet Black Heart”. Not only is the song infectious, but the message within it is beautiful as well. The official video for this song is currently sitting at over 140 million views and counting!

Choice Love Song (#ChoiceLoveSong): 5 Seconds of Summer -“Vapor”; Selena Gomez – “Hands To Myself”; Ariana Grande – “Into You”; Nick Jonas – “Close” (feat. Tove Lo); Little Mix – “Secret Love Song” (feat. Jason Derulo); One Direction – “Perfect”

Who We Think Will Win: There are two songs in the category that I feel deserve the title as “Choice Love Song” – Ariana Grande’s “Into You” and 1D’s “Perfect”. They both have topped the charts numerous times so it’s really no surprise they’re at it again. Not only that, but their fan bases are full of super dedicated teens so I’m sure they’ll be up all-night voting and creating a close race.

Choice Break-Up Song (#ChoiceBreakupSong): Justin Bieber, “Love Yourself”; Selena Gomez, “Same Old Love”; Zara Larsson & MNEK, “Never Forget You”; Demi Lovato, “Stone Cold”; Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello, “I Know What You Did Last Summer”; Charlie Puth, “We Don’t Talk Anymore” (feat. Selena Gomez)

Who We Think Will Win: Summer love never lasts forever and each song here is a great choice to end that fling, but Bieber’s “Love Yourself” is in a competition of its own. I mean the kid found a clever way to tell someone to go f**k themselves without actually saying it. Not to mention it’s really catchy!

Choice Party Song (#ChoicePartySong): DNCE, “Cake by the Ocean”; Flo Rida, “My House”; Becky G, “Break A Sweat”; Calvin Harris, “This is What You Came For” (feat. Rihanna); Sia, “Cheap Thrills” (feat. Sean Paul); Justin Timberlake, “Can’t Stop The Feeling!”;

Who We Think Will Win: In light of the whole Calvin-Taylor drama going on, more and more people are checking out the song that sparked the drama. And all it takes is one listen to fall in love with a song. The track is perfect for those late summer night parties and it really does blow the other tunes out of the water.
