Celeb Secrets Predicts Winners for 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards – Music Categories

It’s almost time for the best night of the year — the 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards!

While we wait only two more weeks until the big show, Celeb Secrets is giving you our thoughts on who will win that famous orange blimp at this year’s show in the following music categories — Favorite Music Group, Favorite Male and Female Artist, Favorite Song, Favorite Breakout Artist, Favorite Global Music Star, and Favorite Musical YouTube Creator.

Hosted by John Cena, the 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards will air LIVE from the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California on Saturday, March 24th @ 8PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon and feature a performance from nominee JoJo Siwa.

Check out our winner predictions below and view all of this year’s nominees here.

Favorite Music Group: Coldplay; Fifth Harmony; Imagine Dragons; Maroon 5; The Chainsmokers; Twenty One Pilots

Who We Think Will Win: Although they haven’t put out any music this year (yet), Fifth Harmony is always a fan favorite at the KCAs. No matter what Lauren, Normani, Ally, and Dinah do, Harmonizers always have their back, which is why we feel that they will make the girls this year’s Favorite Music Group.

Favorite Male Artist: Bruno Mars; DJ Khaled; Ed Sheeran; Luis Fonsi; Kendrick Lamar; Shawn Mendes

Who We Think Will Win: Hands down this award should go to our boy Ed Sheeran. His infectious tunes and honest lyrics brings together people of all ages — including kids — which will be voting to make him this year’s Favorite Male Artist.

Favorite Female ArtistBeyoncé; Demi Lovato; Katy Perry; P!NK; Selena Gomez; Taylor Swift

Who We Think Will Win: Such bad-ass ladies are up for a blimp in this category this year! If we had to choose a winner, it would be Taylor Swift. After the release of her new album reputation last year, how could she NOT be our (and your) favorite female artist out there right now?

Favorite SongDespacito (Remix) – Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee, featuring Justin Bieber; HUMBLE. – Kendrick Lamar; I’m The One – DJ Khaled, featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne; It Ain’t Me – Selena Gomez & Kygo; Look What You Made Me Do – Taylor Swift; Shape Of You – Ed SheeranThat’s What I Like – Bruno MarsThunder – Imagine Dragons

Who We Think Will Win: This is SUCH a hard category — every song is at the top of our playlists! While we can’t pick a definite winner, we know have a feeling it will come down to Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” and Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like.”

Favorite Breakout Artist: Alessia Cara; Camila Cabello; Cardi B; Harry Styles; Khalid; Noah Cyrus

Who We Think Will Win: From Alessia Cara winning Best New Artist at the GRAMMYs to Camila Cabello and Harry Styles’ stellar solo careers, each nominee in this category has had a breakout year. We think that the Camilizers have been out full force voting for their gal, ultimately making her the winner of this category.

Favorite Global Music Star: Black Coffee (Africa); BTS (Asia); Lorde (Australia/New Zealand); Maluma (South America); Taylor Swift (North America); The Vamps (UK); Zara Larsson (Europe)

Who We Think Will Win: Every artist in this category has millions of fans all over the world, but in the end, the BTS Army never disappoints. Asia’s BTS will hands down win Favorite Global Music Star.

Favorite Musical YouTube Creator: Ayo & Teo; Jack & Jack; Jacob Sartorius; Johnny Orlando; JoJo Siwa; Why Don’t We

Who We Think Will Win: Each of these artists are super talented and put out super catchy music on YouTube, however, we think Nickelodeon’s own JoJo Siwa will be taking home another blimp at the KCAs this year.
