On Sunday, January 26, we were invited to MTV affiliated artist Karen Lo’s Grammy Listening Party. The guest list included the cast of urban show, “Living in the City”. Yong Fyre, Diana Chi At KTLA, singer Marneen, and many more. It was a fun filled event with friends and fans at Cabo Wabo in Hollywood. It was not only an event to watch the Grammy’s, but it was an event for Marneen showcase her new music video for “Shadows” and for Karen Lo put on an amazing performance.
Karen Lo is a recording artist, who was a contestant on America’s Got Talent in 2011. Since then, she has been working in the recording studio with producer Ron Townsend where she is writing songs about her past. She has released a few singles since America’s got talent, such as, “Wanna Be” which was a top 40 club hit and “Love Me Now.” Karen’s musical genre is R&B and is similar to Alicia Keys and Keyshia Cole. We were able to catch up with Karen at her Grammy Listening Party as she tells us what is coming up for her music wise and gives you advice when it comes to auditioning for TV shows.
