Hey CelebSecrets4U readers!
X Games Aspen 2016 is officially here and we kicked it off in the best way possible — in the athlete lounge!
On January 27, X Games hosted an evening bash in the exclusive X Games Athlete Lounge at Buttermilk Mountain to benefit two causes – The V Foundation for Cancer Research and Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC). We were lucky enough to attend and it was super fun! Keep reading below for details…
For the first time ever, non-athletes (including us!) were able to step inside the X Games Athlete Lounge and it was amazing. We instantly fell in love when we found out there were an endless amount of appetizers and a mini-bar onsite! Not only were we excited for the delicious food, but also we were super stoked to mix and mingle with X Games athletes.
X Games’ finest came out to support this special cause, including Jamie Anderson, Kaitlyn Farrington, Mike Schultz, David Wise, Ståle Sandbech, Gretchen Bleiler, Elena Hight and host/commentator Brandon Graham.
HONEYHONEY provided music for the evening and they absolutely killed it. Their chill vibe really set the tone for the event, making athletes and guests feel at ease and enjoy the evening.
While everyone mixed and mingled, guests were able to partake in a one-of-a-kind silent auction featuring a photo and art exhibition entitled, “The 20 Most Influential Snowboarding Images of All Time,” curated for B4BC by NEMO Design.
As the event came to a close, guests received a special gift bag with a bunch of premium items! Goodies included a commemorative 5-by-7 print from the iconic photo exhibition, memorabilia from Marhar Snowboards, B4BC and others.
We would like to thank our friends at ESPN and X Games for inviting us to their kick-off bash! There was no better way to begin the best show on snow — food, drinks, goodies, and athletes all while raising awareness for a wonderful cause.
X Games Aspen 2016 will be at Buttermilk Mountain until Sunday, January 31st.
