China Anne McClain Will Debut New Song ‘What’s My Name” Tomorrow

The highly anticipated sequel, Descendants 2 is less than two months away, and to get us even more pumped, China Anne McClain, who plays Uma, the daughter of Ursula, is releasing a new song tomorrow!

China will be taking over Radio Disney June 1st to debut the new single titled “What’s My Name.” The track will be available for download on iTunes Friday, June 2nd followed by the music video which will premiere on June 14th. The Descendants 2 soundtrack is now available for preorder here.

In Descendants 2, the story deepens as the Villain Kids (AKA “VKs”) – Mal (Dove Cameron), Evie (Sofia Carson), Carlos (Cameron Boyce) and Jay (BooBoo Stewart) – continue to try to find their place in idyllic Auradon. When the pressure to be royal becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma (China Anne McClain), the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the run-down town. Uma, still resentful over not being selected by Ben (Mitchell Hope) to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang including Captain Hook’s son Harry (Thomas Doherty) and Gaston’s son Gil (Dylan Playfair), to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all.

Make sure to catch Descendants 2 on Friday, July 21st @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC, Freeform, Lifetime, and all Disney streaming platforms.
