CMA Fest 2016: Riverfront Stage Lineup Predictions

Over the last month, the Country Music Association has been releasing this summer’s Nissan Stadium lineup via the CMA Fest app. On  Tuesday, April 12th, the lineup for the Riverfront Stage will be released via the app.

In anticipation for this announcement, Celeb Secrets is here to bring you our predictions of the lineup. You can read all of our predictions down below and make sure you tweet us your own predictions!

Chris Lane has had a great year thus far; his Fix EP has gotten great traction and he will be hitting the road with Rascal Flatts and Kelsea Ballerini. We will not be surprised to see this guy playing the Riverfront Stage.

Dan + Shay have played the Riverfront Stage for the last two summers, so we won’t be surprised to see them on the list again this year. With their second album looming, we are looking forward to hearing some new songs from this duo this summer.

Lauren Alaina has grown a lot in the last year; she even sang with Carrie Underwood a couple weeks ago at ACM Party For A Cause. This Idol alum is going places and we are confident that the Riverfront Stage is one of said places.

The Cadillac Three are some of our favorite performers to watch live; this trio never disappoints. We loved watching them on the Riverfront Stage last summer and hope we get the pleasure of watching them again this year.

Danielle Bradberry’s latest single, Friendzone, absolutely blew us away. Honestly, we are dying for new music from her! Every time we check, her fanbase is growing as is she as an artist. She would be a perfect fit on this stage.

Cassadee Pope blew everyone away at the ACM Awards with her duet with Chris Young. Last year, she rocked the Riverfront Stage in front of a huge crowd and we are confident that she will do the same this summer!

Honestly, what is CMA Fest without Hunter Hayes? We were hoping to see him on the main stage this year, but since that is not the case, we can settle with seeing him on the Riverfront Stage.

Kellie Pickler is another performer who we had the pleasure of seeing on the Riverfront Stage last summer. Pickler may not have a summer tour announced, but she does have a series of summer dates lined up; there’s conveniently a nice spot for CMA Fest in said dates, so let’s pray she will grace us with her presence this summer!

Martina+McBride+51st+Academy+Country+Music+G70ZZvywlzsl

Martina McBride is hitting the road with Jason Aldean this summer, which conveniently begins after CMA Fest. We think we can count on seeing her on the Riverfront Stage this summer.

Maggie+Rose+51st+Academy+Country+Music+Awards+31GD9vUkgNkl

Maggie Rose is someone that we always love chatting with at CMA Fest. For the last two summers, she has blown us away with not only her performance, but her fashion sense on the Riverfront Stage; we are hoping for a three-peat.

Maddie & Tae have won over the hearts of many throughout the last year with their fun music and great sense of style. This duo is currently on the road, but we noticed a gap in their schedule where CMA Fest should be; it seems like its meant to be that this duo would be playing the Riverfront Stage.

Canaan Smith is gearing up to hit the road with Brantley Gilbert! Conveniently, the routing also left a gap for CMA Fest. 2016 has been a big year for Smith thus far, playing on the Riverfront Stage would add to that momentum!

The Swon Brothers are a duo that we love chatting with. This duo killed their performance on the Riverfront Stage last year and we are confident that they will have the opportunity to do the same thing this summer.

RaeLynn is also on the list of performers who played the Riverfront Stage last summer. She is spending her summer playing a series of festivals, so adding CMA Fest to that list just makes sense.

Eric Paslay’s presence on the Riverfront Stage was confirmed a few days ago via an interview he did with the Country Music Association.

Dustin Lynch was one of our favorite performances last year on the Riverfront stage. He is currently on the road with Luke Bryan and Little Big Town, but if those two can take the time to perform on the main stage, we think Lynch can make an appearance on the Riverfront Stage.

Scotty McCreery has been many people’s favorites since his Idol days and he even has a book coming out this May! He has a series of dates booked this summer after he finishes his book tour, but nothing is locked in during the dates of CMA Fest; the Riverfront Stage is ready for him.

Jana Kramer may have just had a baby, but being a mother hasn’t stopped her from touring with Rascal Flatts. We are confident that this won’t stop her from performing at CMA Fest. Who knows, maybe Jolie will make an appearance as well.
