It’s been a big month for the Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum selling Southern California singer and songwriter. After releasing Gypsy Heart Side A as a “surprise”, the EP landed at #1 on iTunes Top Pop Albums chart, while clinching the #5 spot on the Overall Top Albums chart. Within only 24 hours, all five of the EP’s songs had also charted on iTunes Top Pop Songs chart as well. Gypsy Heart Side A comprises five songs from Caillat’s forthcoming fourth full-length studio album Gypsy Heart due out later this year. The EP sees Caillat join forces with legendary Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, longtime friend Jason Reeves, David Hodges [Christina Perri, Avril Lavigne], and more. Among the EP’s tracks are “Blaze”, which burns with a spirited bounce and invigorating hook, and the heartfelt breakup song “If You Love Me Let Me Go.”
