Cole Swindell: “Down Home Sessions” EP Out Exclusively on iTunes (@ColeSwindell)

Breakout country music artist Cole Swindell released his brand newDown Home Sessions EPexclusively on iTunes this week, landing immediatelyin the No. 1 spot on the country chart and Top 10 all genre. The five song digital collection includes previously unreleased tracks and follows up Swindell’s debut album, which contains his latest single currently building at country radio Aint Worth The Whiskey. Recently announced as a performer on the 88th annual Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, Swindell began his first headlining run last Thursday, which includes two upcoming sold-out Chicago stops at Joes Sports Bar December 10 and 11 before wrapping later in the month. Swindell also introduced his new fan club on the tour, calledThe Down Home Crew, where fans gain exclusive access, discounts and get early information on all things Cole Swindell. Down Home Crew members will also get access to the Chillin It VIP experiences on select tour stops powered by The Coleman Company, Inc.

Nominated for CMA Awards New Artist of the Year, Swindell was also recently nominated for two of the newly created American Country Countdown Awards (ACCAs), for Song of the Year for his debut hit single Chillin It, as well, for Breakthrough Artist Of The Year Presented By Samsung Galaxy. Swindell has impressively sold more than 260,000 copies of his self-titled debut album since only February, giving him the highest selling debut country album released this year. Along with his new single Aint Worth The Whiskey, the album also features his first two hits as a solo artist, back-to-back No. 1 singles: the platinum certified Chillin It and gold certified Hope You Get Lonely Tonight.” Named Music Rows Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year, Swindells celebrated songwriting credits include hit songs such as This Is How We Roll for Florida Georgia Line, Get Me Some of That, the No. 1 single for Thomas Rhett, several songs with Luke Bryan including his latest No. 1 single Roller Coaster, among others. Swindell’s debut hit Chillin It remains one of the most played songs on country radio this year, racking up almost 1.3 million sales of more than 2.2 million total tracks sold. Also making his Grand Ole Opry debut earlier this year, Swindell will head back out on the road in 2015 with Jason Aldeans Burn It Down tour.
