The special also will feature performances by Little Mix, the cast of Empireand 5 Seconds of Summer.

Teen Choice 2015 airs LIVE from the USC Galen Center on Sunday, August 16th @ 8PM ET/PT on FOX.

Our predictions are…

Choice Male Artist (#ChoiceMaleArtist)

  • Jason Derulo
  • Nick Jonas
  • Shawn Mendes
  • Pitbull
  • Ed Sheeran
  • Sam Smith

This is a tough one, all these males had a successful year and aren’t going anywhere. Nick Jonas has been doing extremely well, especially because “Jealous” and “Chains” is on the radio nonstop, but Ed Sheeran keeps coming out with new singles and his old singles keep playing on the radio. I mean Ginger, British, and a voice of an angel? Why wouldn’t Ed Sheeran win the surfboard!

Choice Female Artist (#ChoiceFemaleArtist)

  • Iggy Azalea
  • Selena Gomez
  • Ariana Grande
  • Demi Lovato
  • Rihanna
  • Taylor Swift

Iggy Azalea and Ariana Grande have been involved in few controversies this year from canceling a tour to some donut licking. This award is going to be a battle of the best friends, Selena Gomez VS. Taylor Swift. Selena Gomez just released a new single and is getting ready to release new music! While Taylor Swift is just the QUEEN of single, she’s been releasing single after single and they’v all been doing so well! Hope there’s no bad blood here when the winner is announced!

Choice Music Group: Male (#ChoiceMusicGroupMale)

  • 5 Seconds of Summer
  • Fall Out Boy
  • Imagine Dragons
  • Maroon 5
  • One Direction
  • One Republic

I think it’s time for One Direction to pass on the torch, well surfboard, to 5 Seconds of Summer. They are the hot new boy band! Hot. Australians. They Play their own instruments. Need I say more?

Choice Music Group: Female (#ChoiceMusicGroupFemale)

  • Cimorelli
  • Fifth Harmony
  • Haim
  • Icona Pop
  • Little Mix
  • Barden Bellas

If Fifth Harmony doesn’t take this award I’ll honestly be surprised. They deserve this award. They’re on tour, new singles on the radio, which can I admit can’t stop listening to! And not only that, but they have the best fans in the world, their harmonizers that are probably voting for them like CRAZY!

Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Artist (#ChoiceRBHipHopArtist)

  • Iggy Azalea
  • Drake
  • Wiz Khalifa
  • Nicki Minaj
  • The Weekend
  • Kanye West

Drake has been involved in a lot of drama lately, which I don’t know if that is going to help him or hurt him. But I think this award is going to go to The Weekend. He has been doing fairly well, playing coachella, his song worth it is a huge hit, and he just came out with a new single. Plus his voice is so soulful that he can make anything sound so peaceful.

Choice Country Artist (#ChoiceCountryArtist)

  • Luke Bryan
  • Florida Georgia Line
  • Hunter Hayes
  • Miranda Lambert
  • Blake Shelton
  • Carrie Underwood

Well this is a sad category because two of the nominees just recently got divorced. RIP. I really hope Luke Bryan takes this award because not only is his music catchy, but that man can shake it! Hunter Hayes has been on tour and recently released new music, so he has a good chance of winning too! Plus, he’s insanely adorable.

Choice Song: Female Artist (#ChoiceSongFemaleArtist)

  • Kelly Clarkson – “Heartbeat Song”
  • Ariana Grande – “One Last Time”
  • Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj – “Bang Bang”
  • Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea – “Pretty Girls”
  • Taylor Swift – “Shake It Off”
  • Meghan Trainor – “All About That Bass”

Kelly Clarkson’s single is a huge hit on the radio and once you hear it once it gets stuck in your head. Playing on the radio nonstop she has a huge chance of winning, but Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” is something you can’t shake off. It’s catchy, addicting, and it makes you want to dance. Plus, it’s a pretty old single and it is still playing on the radio.

Choice Song: Male Artist (#ChoiceSongMaleArtist)

  • Nick Jonas – “Jealous”
  • Shawn Mendes – “Stitches”
  • Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars – “Uptown Funk”
  • Ed Sheeran – “Thinking Out Loud”
  • Skrillex and Diplo featuring Justin Bieber – “Where Are Ü Now”
  • Sam Smith – “Lay Me Down”

They should rename this category to which song do they play on the radio more? And all these artists have a huge chance of winning. But I think it’s going to be a battle between “Uptown Funk”, “Thinking Out Loud”, and “Lay Me Down”. If I had to choice someone to win the surfboard it would be Ed Sheeran because not only is that song beautiful, but it’s probably the most played song on the radio.

Choice Song: Group (#ChoiceSongGroup)

  • 5 Seconds of Summer – “What I Like About You”
  • Echosmith – “Cool Kids”
  • Fall Out Boy – “Centuries”
  • Fifth Harmony feat. Kid Ink – “Worth It”
  • Maroon 5 – “Sugar”
  • One Direction – “Steal My Girl”

I want to say no competition here because I really want Fifth Harmony to win, but One Direction might steal their surfboard! Both groups are huge, both songs are catchy, and both have extremely supportive fans. It’s going to be a close call, but I think it might actually go to the ladies because let’s face it they’re “Worth It.”
