The countdown to the 2015 Billboard Music Awards has officially begun!
With only one day until showtime, CS4U is giving you a breakdown on what you can expect from one of music’s biggest event hosted by Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen.
Today, we are sharing our thoughts on who will be taking home the awards from the following artist categories: Top Artist, Top New Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Duo/Group, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top 100 Artist, Top Social Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Touring Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Hot 100 Song and the Billboard Chart Achievement Award presented by Samsung Galaxy (Fan-Voted Award).
The 2015 Billboard Music Awards will be broadcasted LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17, on ABC from 8:00 PM–11:00 PM ET.

Taylor Swift has been taking over the charts, radio stations, and now instagram. We are all wondering who is going to be next in Taylor’s new video “Bad Blood,” still hoping it’s going to me, but I forgot I was in it. From all the artists listed about Taylor Swift has been taking over the world and we predict she’ll be taking over this category too.

As much as I want to say Hozier deserves this award because he is technically the newest artist on the scene, I feel Sam Smith is going to take this award. He’s more popular and known than Hozier, even though Hozier’s song “Take Me To Church” is being played nonstop on the radio and he did play Coachella this year, he is a very underrated artist that needs more recognition.

We predict Drake will be winning this award because he pulled a Beyonce this year with his album “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” and he played Coachella this year. He is taken over the rap scene and the only artist that came out with new music this year. Started from the bottom now he’s here.

This category is going to be a battle between Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift. Maybe that’s why Taylor Swift is coming out with her music video for “Bad Blood” that day, because it’s going to be a blood bath. They both collaborate with several artists and almost all of their songs become singles.
Top Duo/Group
- 5 Seconds of Summer
- Florida Georgia Line
- MAGIC!
- Maroon 5
- One Direction
One Direction wins this award every year, but they went into two directions this year. So this is not going to be a win for them. The group that will take the award from them this year will be 5 seconds of summer, they’ve been touring like crazy and performing in several awards! Plus, they are from Australia! Who wouldn’t want them to win?!

Taylor Swift is nominated for every award and it is driving me crazy because I feel like she’s going to demolish all the categories! She’s been on the Billboard top 100 for all her singles and stays on there forever.

Taylor Swift! Need I say more. Honestly, she is the only artist who keeps all of her songs in the top 100 and stays there even when her new singles come on. They still play “Shake it Off” on the radio and lets be honest we still can’t stop listening to it. Sorry haters, you’re all going to have to “shake it off, shake it off!”

I want Miley Cyrus to win this award only because I want to hear her speech! lol She is a little instagram crazy and doesn’t care what social media knows. She’s honest and raw and that is what I love most about her. But Selena Gomez does reply back to her fans, as well as Taylor. So good luck ladies, cat fight! Meow.

I want to say Taylor Swift is going to win this category, again. But she did just take off her music off of spotify, so that might affect this decision. People were angry and upset about this decision, so it might go to Ariana Grande. Who is going to be neck and neck with Taylor Swift for all the categories they are nominated in together.
