The countdown to the 2015 CMT Music Awards has officially begun!

With only one day until showtime, CS4U is giving you a breakdown on what you can expect from one of country music’s biggest event hosted by Brittany Snow and Erin Andrews.

Today, we are sharing our thoughts on who will be taking home the awards from the following single artist categories: Group Video of the Year, Duo Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year.

The 2015 CMT Music Awards will be broadcasted LIVE from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, June 10, on CMT from 8:00 PM–10:30 PM ET.

Group Video of the Year

Best video of a group; awarded to the artists.

  • A Thousand Horses– “Smoke”
  • Eli Young Band– “Dust”
  • Lady Antebellum– “Bartender”
  • Little Big Town“Day Drinking”
  • The Band Perry– “Chainsaw”
  • Zac Brown Band– “All Alright”

Day Drinking by Little Big Town is not only our jam, but we love the music video as well. It is such a fun summer song and music video. It has so much energy and just makes you want to dance. Little Big town will be taking home the award for best video of a group.

Duo Video of the Year

Best video of a duo; awarded to the artists.

  • Big & Rich– “Look at You”
  • Brothers Osborne – “Rum”
  • Florida Georgia Line – “Dirt”
  • Florida Georgia Line – “Sun Daze”
  • Maddie & Tae – “Girl in a Country Song”
  • The Swon Brothers – “Later On”

This is such a difficult choice! It is hard for us to choose between Maddie & Tae and Florida Georgia Line. Maddie & Tae had such a fun and silly music video with the role reversals. Florida Georgia Line’s music video for “Dirt” is such a cute love story. For this category we are going to have to go with Florida Georgia Line “Dirt.” This song tells a story and depicts it perfectly in the music video and they deserve this award.

Duo Video of the Year

Category consists of videos that featured a special collaborative appearance by artists; awarded to the artists.

  • Blake Shelton Feat. Ashley Monroe – “Lonely Tonight”
  • Brantley Gilbert Feat. Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett – “Small Town Throwdown”
  • Jennifer Nettles Feat. Brandy Clark – “His Hands (Live)”
  • Kenny Chesney with Grace Potter – “Wild Child”
  • Miranda Lambert with Carrie Underwood – Somethin’ Bad
  • Tim McGraw Feat. Faith Hill – “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s”

There are so many great duos, but we have to say this award has to go to the amazing women Miranada Lamber with Carrie Underwood – “Somethin’ Bad.” This song and music video is fierce and these two women make a great combo. When two of the greatest women in country music come together you get an amazing song and music video! Miranda and Carrie will definitely be taking this award home.

CMT Performance of the Year

Category consists of musical performances on a television show, series or variety special on CMT; awarded to the artists.

  • Bob Seger and Jason Aldean – “Turn the Page”
  • Brett Eldredge – “Beat of the Music”
  • John Legend and Lee Ann Womack – “You & I”
  • Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves – “Roar”
  • Keith Urban – “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World”
  • Kenny Chesney – “American Kids”
  • Lady Antebellum and Aloe Blacc – “Wake Me Up”
  • Lady Antebellum and Chris Stapleton – “Drink a Beer”

There’s so many great performances and its sooo hard to choose just one. However, if we have to choose just one it has to be John Legend and Lee Ann Womack – “You & I.” Their voices together is probably the most amazing thing ever. We have two angelic voices and it makes us so happy. They deserve this award.
