“You Know You Love Them – Best Music Group” (Presented By KRAFT® Macaroni and Cheese Shapes): Fall Out Boy, Fifth Harmony, One Direction, R5

Who We Think Will Win: Can the choice be anymore difficult? I mean you have Fall Out Boy who is known for creating hits (like their re-make of “Irresistible” ft. Demi freaking Lovato) and Fifth Harmony who just released their catchy new single, “Work From Home”. And on top of that, the biggest band in the world is up for this award. Everyone on the list is incredibly talented, but I’m going to have to go with One Direction. They may be on hiatus at the moment, but they made sure to not leave us empty-handed. With hits like “History” and “No Control”, they are the perfect candidate for this award.

“He’s The One – Best Male Artist”: Ed Sheeran,
Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas,
Shawn Mendes

Who We Think Will Win: What a list of nominees, am I right? From the soothing vocals of Nick Jonas and Ed Sheeran to the dynamic songs from Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes, this will definitely be a close race. But like I said before, Justin Bieber has made a comeback to the music industry, there’s no denying that his last album was one the year’s best. So with that, my money is on the Biebs.

“She’s The One – Best Female Artist”: Adele, Meghan Trainor, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift

Who We Think Will Win:This category is just insane! Not only do we have powerhouse Adele and chart-topper Meghan Trainor, but our favorite besties Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are competing for this coveted award. Now even though Adele dominated at the Brits and the Grammys, the RDMAs is towards a younger demographic which means the dance, pop songs are the ones that will win here. With that being said, I predict that the winner will either be Taylor Swift or Meghan Trainor. They both created amazing hits that did well and received plenty of air time. We can’t wait to see these two duke it out!

“The Bestest – Song Of The Year”: Bad Blood – Taylor Swift,
Cheerleader – OMI, Stitches – Shawn Mendes, Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) – Silento

Who We Think Will Win: Swift’s “Bad Blood” was everyone’s anthem, but the one song that you couldn’t escape last year was definitely “Watch Me”. The song sparked the legendary dance-craze that had everyone taking a whack at it. It’s fun, catchy, and will most likely be around for generations to come! Silento will win this one, hands down!

“XOXO – Best Crush Song”: Love Me Like You Do – Ellie Goulding, One Call Away – Charlie Puth,
Perfect – One Direction,
Should’ve Been Us – Tori Kelly

Who We Think Will Win: This is such a hard choice! Tori Kelly’s “Should’ve Been Us” was literally the soundtrack to my life, “Perfect” by One Direction made us all fantasize our dream wedding, “Love Me Like You Do” climbed the charts like nothing, and who can resist Charlie Puth?? I know there will only be one winner, but my heart is torn between “Should’ve Been Us” and “Perfect”. Guess we’ll just have to tune in to see!

“So Fantastic – Fiercest Fans”: Beliebers, Directioners, Harmonizers,
Swifties

Who We Think Will Win: In my opinion, all these fandoms deserve to win simply because they’re all dedicated and awesome. But only one can be the “fiercest” of them all and my prediction is that it’ll go to the Directioners. They’ve stuck it out through the drama, Zayn’s untimely departure, and are still holding it down through the hiatus. If that’s not fierce, I don’t know what is!

“The Buzz – Breakout Artist Of The Year”: Alessia Cara,
Charlie Puth, Rachel Platten, Tori Kelly

Who We Think Will Win: The breakout artist of the year award will have to go to someone who took everyone by surprise and proved their spot on the charts. Everyone on this list did just that, but Tori Kelly did it the best. From her successful Pepsi commercial to her jaw-dropping performances at the 2015 Video Music Awards and the Grammys, she’s a force to be reckoned with.

SHAWN MENDES

“The Freshest – Best New Artist”: DNCE, Daya, Kelsea Ballerini, Nathan Sykes

Who We Think Will Win: All these acts are amazing, but there really isn’t any competition when DNCE is on the roster. Even though their aesthetic is a little too colorful for my taste, I’m almost certain they will take this home and possibly celebrate with some cake by the ocean ( see what I did there?)

“So Happy – Best Song That Makes You Smile” (Presented By Cheddar Goldfish® crackers): “
Better When I’m Dancing – Meghan Trainor, Cheerleader – OMI, I Don’t Like It, I Love It – Flo Rida

Who We Think Will Win: I may love Flo Rida and OMI may have had us all cheering at the top of our lungs, but Meghan Trainor had us all dancing, moving, and feeling happy. This track was such a feel-good song, I’ll be surprised if she doesn’t take this one.

“#COOL – Radio Disney’s Most Talked About Artist”: Justin Bieber, One Direction,
Taylor Swift

Who We Think Will Win:The three artists on this list are known for being the talk of the town. Justin Bieber made his triumphant comeback, but he’s still making headlines like cancelling the meet & greets for his tour. Taylor Swift can be found on any and every cover of a magazine and One Direction is well, One Direction. My prediction for the most talked about artist will have to be my favorite 4 lads. From Louis’ baby daddy drama, Zayn going solo, Haylor resparking the old flame, to all the rumors in between, they were definitely the topic of every conversation.

“Stuck In Our Heads – Best Song To Lip Sync To” (Presented By BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages): Cake By The Ocean – DNCE, Dessert (feat. Silento) – Dawin, Gibberish (feat. Hoodie Allen) – MAX, What Do You Mean? – Justin Bieber

Who We Think Will Win: Out of al the songs listed, the one track that stuck in my mind all day long is “What Do You Mean?” by Justin Bieber. Right after it debuted, I would catch myself and everyone around me humming this tune. Whether you’re a Belieber or not, you can’t deny how many times you found yourself singing along to this jam.

“That’s My Jam – Best Anthem”: Cake By The Ocean – DNCE, Confident – Demi Lovato, Eyes Wide Open – Sabrina Carpenter,
Honey, I’m Good – Andy Grammer

Who We Think Will Win: As much as I loved each and every track here, “Confident”was the anthem that stood out from the rest. The empowering lyrics mixed with Demi’s vocals is just what an anthem is meant to sound like. I predict Demi will win this award by a long shot.

“Move! – Best Song To Dance To”: Break a Sweat – Becky G, Focus – Ariana Grande, Uma Thurman – Fall Out Boy, Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) – Silento

Who We Think Will Win: Whether you were hitting the dance floor or just chilling in your room, these songs all got a little hop and twist out of us. The Whip and Nae Nae took over like a wildfire and it’s still one of the most iconic dance moves to date. I predict Silento’s “Watch Me” will snatch this one up!

“Heartbreak – Best Breakup Song”: Bad Blood – Taylor Swift, Hello – Adele, Sorry – Justin Bieber, Stitches – Shawn Mendes

Who We Think Will Win: That no-good ex of yours may have left you heartbroken, but the songs in this category were always there to pick up the pieces. From Bieber’s untimely apology to Adele’s greetings from the past, there’s truly nothing better than a little crying (or a lot of crying) to cleanse your soul of the breakup. I predict that the award will go to “Hello” or “Sorry”!

“You’ve Got Swag! – Artist With The Best Style”: Becky G, Gwen Stefani,
Taylor Swift, Zendaya

Who We Think Will Win: When it comes down to looks, these women have got the right stuff. Taylor or should I say Slaylor always hits the carpet looking nothing less that perfect, Zendaya has never looked better, and Gwen has been on point since before I was born. But who’s got the most swag? My vote will have to go to Zendaya. Ever since her days on Disney Channel’s Shake It Up, she has been a style icon and fashionista. She definitely has this in the bag!

KELSEA BALLERINI

“Radio Disney Country Favorite Song”: Dibs – Kelsea Ballerini,
Fly – Maddie & Tae, God Made Girls – RaeLynn, Nothin’ Like You – Dan + Shay

Who We Think Will Win: My prediction for Radio Disney’s favorite country song would have to be “Fly” by Maddie and Tae. This song received over 19 million views on VEVO and it’s no surprise why! Along with the lighthearted music, these ladies can harmonize like no other. The lyrics are just beautiful and the music video just ties it all together. Well done girls!

“Radio Disney Country Favorite Artist”: Hunter Hayes, Kelsea Ballerini,
Maddie & Tae,
Sam Hunt

Who We Think Will Win: I’m sure they will take the award for favorite country song as well as favorite country artist. Maddie & Tae are a pair of fun, multi-talented, and gorgeous girls that are making a name for themselves. I’m positive they will win this award as well as many others to come!
