Dancing With The Stars “Dynamic Duos” — Recap November 3, 2014 (@DancingABC #DWTS)

MICHAEL WALTRIP, EMMA SLATERThe 8th week of Dancing With The Stars aired tonight (November 3rd) LIVE on ABC.

With the quarter finals approaching the pressure is on. Tonight’s show the stars and their partners took on the roles as some of histories most iconic “Dynamic Duos” and hit the ballroom dance floor to give enthusiastic performances.

Bethany Mota and Derek Hough channeled their inner Lucy & Ricky Ricardo from “I Love Lucy” and did a Salsa number to the classic TV Show. “It was sizzling out there…It was fantastic!” said Len Goodman. Scoring a total of 37.

Topping the leader board tonight was Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy.Taking on Romeo and Juliet (which we think could have not been a better match for these two) as they gave a beautifully intense contemporary dance to tell the tragic love story. “There’s only one thing that I can truly say..breathtaking” commented Julianne Hough. Ending with a total score of 40.

Tonight also brought on a twist to the ballroom. The stars did a “Dance Off” and whoever judges voted for received 3 extra points to their total scored of the night.Winners are in bold: Alfonso Vs. Lea, Sadie Vs. Bethany, Tommy Vs. Michael.

The ballroom had to say goodbye to Michael Waltrip & Emma Slater tonight. “I’ve just grown so much emotionally and I’m a better person…and I’m happy that I got to be here.”
