“Dancing with the Stars” Recap – September 30, 2013 (@DancingABC)

9Ballroom dance seemed to be an experiment that this scientist couldn’t handle. Sorry Bill Nye, looks like the curtains have fallen and your time on Dancing with the Stars has ended. Our favorite childhood star has finally been eliminated on season 17 and although he will be missed, he had a great run.

Let’s not sell anyone short! The bar was set exceptionally high this week on Dancing with The Stars. Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd performed a stunning quick step to Beyonce’s “crazy in love” awarding them the highest score of the night. Jersey Shore’s queen of drama, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and partner, Sasha Farber, did a complex quickstep with ease, landing a dazzling 25. Even the judges have said that these two have become “the ones to watch”. The popular favorite to win Season 17 has seemed to lose her glimmer during this week’s performance. Glee Star, The “Tiger”, Amber Riley and Derek Hough performed a jazzy Charleston, landing a score of 24. Sadly, the Cha Cha was not the dance for Valerie Harper and Tristan MacManus. Judges gave Valerie’s performance a harsh score of 16 this week. This could be put Valerie in the red for weeks to come. The second highest score of the night went to Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff with an amazing score of 26. This weeks results land Corbin and Karina first place with a cumulative score of 76.
