Multi-platinum Hollywood Records recording artist, Demi Lovato, is set to release her fourth studio album, Demi, May 14. Lovato’s album will be available April 2 in North America, April 9 for the rest of the world on pre-order at iTunes and on Amazon.com. The album features Demi’s newest smash hit single, “Heart Attack,” which is already gold in the United States and Canada, and debuted # 1 on iTunes in 19 countries. “Heart Attack” comes on the heels of Demi’s # 1 single, “Give Your Heart A Break,” and has already entered the Top 15 at Top 40 Radio with over 40 million in audience. Demi recently shot the music video for “Heart Attack,” which was directed by Chris Applebaum. E! News will exclusively premiere the music video for “Heart Attack” on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:00PM ET/PT. The video will premiere during E! News and will be available directly following the broadcast on Eonline (www.eonline.com).
Demi is Lovato’s most personal album to date, and is an affirming celebration of life. Lovato co-wrote nearly every song on Demi, along with a team of top producers and writers including TheSUSPEX (Mitch Allan & Jason Evigan), Priscilla Renea, Ryan Tedder, Emanuel “Eman” Kiriakou, Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub, Savan Kotecha, Ali Tamposi, The Monsters & Strangerz, Jonas Jeberg, Anne Preven and Matt Rad. Lovato will return to the judges’ panel for Season Three of The X Factor on Fox as was announced last week. Her single has been garnering rave reviews, including Entertainment Weekly, which proclaimed, “The song is a big one, with pounding beats, earnest wailing, and some interesting lyrical choices.”
