The news that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling were expecting a second child together barely surfaced less than a month ago, and to our surprise, their bundle of joy has already arrived!
That’s right, Mendes gave birth to a healthy baby girl two weeks ago and according to the birth certificate, they decided to go with the name Amada Lee Gosling. Amada was born at Santa Monica’s Providence St. John Health Center on April 29th. Amada, which means “beloved” is the name of Eva’s grandmother as well as the middle name of their 2 year-old daughter Esmeralda. (I just wonder how many people will mistake Amada for Amanda).
The real question is, how did Mendes keep her pregnancy under wraps for the whole 9 months? The world may never know, but we must admit that we are impressed on how well she was able to keep it covered up. Round of applause to you Eva.
