Exclusive Blog: Celeb Secrets Hits Up the 6th Annual Streamy Awards – Our Favorite Moments!

Hey, Celeb Secrets readers!

Our guest reporters Farai and Shelby hit up the 6th Annual Streamy Awards this week and are here to give you the scoop on what went down at the only award show for all things digital.

Farai and Shelby are from Arizona and they drove up to LA just for the Streamys — how cool is that? After they arrived to the Beverly Hilton, they waited for the red carpet to start so they can talk to all your favorite Internet sensations.

Tons of celebs walked the carpet, including Baby Ariel, Chloe Lukasiak, Kandee Johnson, Lauren Giraldo, Logan Paul, Peyton List, Lauren Elizabeth, Nikki and Gabi, King Bach, the Merrell Twins, Gabriel Conte, Joey Graceffa, Loren Beech, Grace Helbig, Jenna Marbles, The Sorry Girls (Kelsey & Becky), Amanda Steele, Sky Does Minecraft, Making Moves, and more.

They asked how digital influencers feel about impact YouTube has on the entertainment industry and to share their deep dark secrets. Here’s what they learned:

  1. The cast of Foursome has a new TV series coming to ABCD.
  2. Loren Beech can say the ABC’s backwards.
  3. The Sorry Girls (Kelsey and Becky) celebrated their first Streamy awards… They were so excited to be on the red carpet!
  4. Chlo says her new song, “Five Minutes” is a fan favorite.

In addition, Farai and Shelby played a round of Would You Rather: YouTuber Edition and you can watch the hilarious video below.

After watching the show, Farai and Shelby said the best moment of the night was Sam Tsui‘s touching tribute to the late Christina Grimmie. Tsui performed a medley of songs in honor of the digital star, including songs she’s covered over the years and her fan-favorite originals.
