The red carpet premiere for G.B.F. was held at Hollywood’s famous Chinese Theater on Tuesday evening (November 19) in Los Angeles, Calif.
In attendance were cast members Megan Mullally, Michael J. Willett, Sasha Pieterse, Xosha Roquemore, Molly Tarlov, Andrea Bowen, JoJo, Jonathan Silverman, Horatio Sanz, Ann Russo, Derek Mio and Dan Godlin; Director Darren Stein; Writer Geroge Northy; Producers Richard Bever and Stephen Israel. Special guests included Greg Araki (Filmmaker), Kate Flannery (The Office), Desiree Hall (Best Night Ever), Allison Paige (Days of Our Lives), and Arden Myrin (MADtv).
Guests celebrated with an after party at hotspot Beacher’s Madhouse, inside The Hollywood Roosevely Hotel, sponsored by Yacht Club Vodka. The night included a special performance by cast member JoJo amongst the venue’s other special performances hosted by Jeff Beacher.
In G.B.F., social warfare erupts when three high school clique queens battle for supremacy: drama diva Caprice (Xosha Roquemore), Mormon princess ‘Shley (Andrea Bowen) and blonde fashionista Fawcett (Sasha Pieterse). When unassuming Tanner (Michael J. Willet) is outted, he finds himself cast as the hottest new teen-girl accessory: The Gay Best Friend. The clique queens immediately pounce and makeover Tanner into their ideal arm candy, forcing him to choose between popularity and the true friends — including his own B.F.F. Brent (Paul Iacono) — that he’s leaving behind.
