This weekend we got the chance to catch up-and-coming pop rock band, Before You Exit, as they played the four California stops of Action Item’s Resolution Tour, including a sold out show at the legendary Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip. The band’s energetic set teased their upcoming EP, I Like That, due of February 4th, and members Connor, Riley, and Toby McDonough (accompanied by guitarist, Braiden Wood, and drummer, Thomas Silvers) showed that the multi-talented brothers, all instrumentalists and vocalists in their own right, possess the electric youth, presence, and humility to elevate them into the next steps of an incredibly promising career. The set started with an older favorite, “The Best Thing,” followed by a new song, “A Little More You” and the never released “Three Perfect Days.” They slowed things down to treat the audience to a brand new and never before played song called “Soldier,” and crowd reaction predicts that this one will be a fan favorite when the EP is released. The guys took the energy in the room to a new level as they performed their latest single “I Like That,” followed by “End of the World,” as the crowd jumped and shouted the lyrics in support. The band profusely thanked the audience for their enthusiasm, and their undeniable charm combined with their obvious musical talent makes them a band to watch as they continue to grow into the band they have always wanted to be.
