Just this week, we headed out to The Terrace in Pasadena to celebrate JDrew’s ‘Director’s Call presents: Class Act’ Mixtape Release and 21st Birthday Party!
Born Jream Andrew Vales, JDrew’s love for music started at the age of 13 when he began to write and record music to find his sound. Now 21, JDrew has been taking the internet music sphere by storm. His first mixtape, ‘Casting Call,’ reached over 124,000 downloads, and his second mixtape, ‘Call Back,’ reached over 103,000 downloads, both released last year. ‘Director’s Call presents: Class Act’ released on January 3, 2012, and can be downloaded for free at Raprise.com at http://tinyurl.com/jdrew-DCPCA.
Further, he has performed at various venues and has opened for artists such as his sister, Jasmine Villegas, Brandon Kane, San Quinn, DJ Quik, New Boyz, Royalty, Miguel, Audio Push, YG, and TY$ to name a few. JDrew’s music is targeted to inspire his generation to take risks in pursuing their dreams, telling them his story through songs he has written from experience.
TONS of JDrew’s family members and close friends came out to celebrate… his sis Jasmine V even performed a few of her hits like “Jealous!”
