Jasmine Villegas celebrated the release of her new EP That’s Me Right There at the Y&R showroom last Friday evening (November 14th) in Los Angeles and CelebSecrets4U was there to fill you guys in on the fun!
The 20-year-old singer-songwriter released her EP earlier this month (November 10th) and had a release party to celebrate this huge milestone in her career. The Y&R showroom was filled with Jasmine’s family members and close friends, including an appearance from former Disney star Roshon Fegan. At the party, Jasmine graced everyone with an acoustic performance of her single “That’s Me Right There” and “Walkaway.” At the end of the night, Jasmine thanked everyone for believing in her and helping make her dreams become reality.
That’s Me Right There EP has five fresh new tracks including “That’s Me Right There” featuring Kendrick Lamar. “I was so excited to have Kendrick Lamar on ‘That’s Me Right There,” Jasmine said. “When he asked how I wanted him to approach the song, I said ‘be Kendrick Lamar.’ Do what you do because you’re amazing.” she added.
Jasmine is currently in the recording studio working on her full length album. In our interview, the Interscope Records’ recording artist talked about making her first EP, dealing with critics, and her sound. Make sure to watch the full video + photos from the release party below.
