MARVIN MARVIN

Get ready for some “big time” fun when Big Time Rush guest star in a brand-new hour-long Marvin Marvin special.  In “Big Time Marvin,” premiering this Saturday, April 27 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), Marvin and Teri attend a Big Time Rush concert, but unbeknownst to them, BTR has been kidnapped by the evil Klerg who are on the hunt to find Klootonian. When Teri gets mistaken for a Klootonian, Marvin must race to save her.

Big Time Rush is set to release their highly anticipated third album, 24/seven, in June. The band will perform tracks from the new album when they hit the road on their “Summer Break Tour” with Victoria Justice. The tour kicks off June 21 in Los Angeles and will stop in over 38 cities across the U.S. For more information on the tour, please visit www.SummerBreakTour.com.

Earlier this week, we chatted with Victory Van Tuyl to get all the details about Big Time Marvin! Take a read at our Q&A below. Will YOU be tuning in?

CelebSecrets4U: Now, Big Time Rush is appearing on Marvin Marvin. Can you tell us a little about that episode, because I’m really excited to see it!

Victory Van Tuyl: Oh yeah, it should be really good. It’s an hour-long episode, and basically in it Marvin, which is Lucas Cruikshank’s character, and my character, Teri, we are really big fans of Big Time Rush, and so we attend a Big Time Rush concert, and kind of unknowingly Big Time Rush has been kidnapped and their bodies have been taken over by the Klerg, which is the evil alien race, and they’re actually looking for Marvin to take him because they’re evil and stuff. And my character gets mistaken for a Klootonian, so Marvin has to go on this race and this very dramatic journey to save me from them, so it’s really fun. It’s a lot of action packed into one hour, so I’m really excited to see it.

CelebSecrets4U: What was it like having the guys of Big Time Rush on your set?

Victory: Oh, it was so much fun! I mean, I think they were there for about two days in all, so it was a lot of fun. They have such a great energy. We would come in at ridiculously early hours and they’d just be so energetic. And we’d all still be waking up and they’d be like ready to go, so it was a lot of fun. They added so much to kind of the energy and the vibe on set, and they’re all really sweet guys, so it was a ton of fun.

CelebSecrets4U: Marvin Marvin gets so many views, I get the numbers sometimes—congratulations! What do you think the fans are going to like most about this episode?

Victory: Well obviously I think a lot of people are going to love that Big Time Rush is on there because they have such a huge fanbase, and I think they kind of represent Nickelodeon in a way. If you watch Nickelodeon, you automatically love Big Time Rush, so I think that they’ll definitely bring in a lot of their fans and kind of introduce some of their fans to our show and kind of what we do. And I think it’s definitely an episode unlike any other and there’s a lot of music and they perform two songs on it, and they have super funny jokes because on their show they play just normal guys in a band, and on this show they play these like evil aliens, so they get to play different characters and you kind of get to see them in a different element, so I really think people are going to enjoy it.

CelebSecrets4U: So what can we expect from upcoming episodes of Marvin Marvin?

Victory: This will be our last one, so this is our finale. So I think this is one of my favorite episodes of the entire season, so I think it’s the perfect choice for the finale episode because it wasn’t actually the last one that we filmed, so actually I can’t wait to see it and kind of wrap up our season one really, really well.

CelebSecrets4U: Oh, that’s great! Now if you do have season 2, where do you want to see Marvin, Teri, where do you want to see them go in the season?

Victory: Oh, I don’t know! You know, actually the great thing about our writers on the show is that I can’t wait to see what they come up with every week, but Lucas and I were talking about this once, and I would actually love to see Marvin and Teri go to boarding school. I think that would be really, really funny and I think it would be really interesting to see if they were roommates or something like that, how they would interact and stuff, so I would love to see that. But other than that, I think an on-location vacation episode would be really fun! So those two I definitely want to see sometime.

CelebSecrets4U: Where do you think you would go on the location if you were to choose?

Victory: You know, we’ve already kind of had an episode where we were supposed to go to Hawaii, so I think I would want to go somewhere overseas like London or something. I think that’d be really fun.

CelebSecrets4U: Cool! Any guest stars you would like to have?

Victory: I don’t know! You know, I think anyone, really. I really would be happy with anyone no matter how out there and unexpected because I think everyone who our writers and producers choose to come on bring something new to the table and something that we can learn from each guest star, so I don’t really have a choice!

CelebSecrets4U: So that was great! Thank you so much for taking the time out to chat with us. I can’t wait for this episode to air. I’m really excited, I can’t even imagine what the viewers are going to think about it.

Victory: Yeah, I’m really excited too! It should be interesting to see what people say about it and stuff, because I think it has a lot of different, really cool parts to it, like it’s not just a one-themed kind of thing.
