“Made In Gold” by Nova Rockafeller was released last week as the lead single from the soundtrack of THE DUFF, with Idolator claiming the track is a “pop/hip hop hybrid with a king of anthemic chorus that gets stuck in your head after the first listen.”

THE DUFF soundtrack album is rounded out by music from some of today’s top new artists including Tegan & Sara, Icona Pop, Kari Kimmel, Tilly and the Wall, Jessie J, Peaches, Junkie XL, Nacey, and Chainsmokers.  (Please see below for final track sequence.)

A comedic snap shot about what it’s like to be a teen today. Bianca (Mae WhitmanParenthood) is a content high school senior whose world is shattered when she learns the student body knows her as ‘The DUFF’ (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) to her prettier, more popular friends (played by Skyler SamuelsThe Nine Lives Of Chloe King; and Bianca SantosHappyland).  Now, despite the words of caution from her favorite teacher (Ken JeongThe Hangover), she puts aside the potential distraction of her crush, Toby (Nick Eversman Get On Up), and enlists Wesley (Robbie AmellThe Flash), a slick but charming jock, to help reinvent herself.  To save her senior year from turning into a total disaster, Bianca must find the confidence to overthrow the school’s ruthless label maker Madison (Bella ThorneAlexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day) and remind everyone that no matter what people look or act like, we are all someone’s DUFF.
