Just last week, the CelebSecrets4U crew had received a special visit from up-and-coming teen artist, Brogan Burnside. Brogan was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. While attending elementary school, Brogan began doing musical theater, singing in the choir, and playing violin and piano. She discovered a love and passion for both music and performance. By the time Brogan was 14, she had performed in over 35 musical productions. One of her favorite memories is of performing the National Anthem for the Monster Jam Truck National shows. Brogan also branched out into films and had roles in a variety of independent films and a starring role in Saving the Lives of Children. At age 12, Brogan saw an advertisement for a songwriting workshop with Los Angeles based Rob Seals. She attended the workshop, but things did not really start to happen until that following summer, when Brogan picked up a guitar and seemed to be able to effortlessly play. She began working with VMS Records and other industry professionals from the LA area who repeatedly commented on the stellar songwriting talent she possessed and that a move to Los Angeles would be the next logical step. Brogan made the 2,550 mile drive to Los Angeles in June of 2010 to continue work on her entertainment career. She is currently recording her first EP of original songs, as well as having interest in use of her material by other artists, television, and film. Her first single “Love Confusion” and music video ft. Christian Beadles was released on April 20, 2011 with an overwhelming response. With a combined total of over 175,000 views on YouTube & receiving numerous honors including #50 Most Discussed (Today), Brogan is definitely having a successful start to her career and is working her way to the top.
