Green Day Headlines Special Show at iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles

Green Day performed for The Green Day iHeartRadio Album Release Party on AT&T Live earlier this month (October 14) at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles.

While they played favorites such as “Holiday” and “Basket Case,” which earned them international acclaim, they also performed songs from their brand new album Revolution Radio such as “Bang Bang” and “Still Breathing.” The band also discussed their stance on the current political climate.

In the middle of “Letter Bomb,” Armstrong told the crowd, “Tonight, right now, we’re going to get rid of all the crap that’s going on right now. We’re getting rid of all of it—You can have it, take it back, we don’t want that s**t in here anymore. That’s it, this is our own private f***ing underground right now. Everyone in this room is immune to the bulls**t that’s coming on the television, that’s coming on the radio, that’s coming on all the social bulls**t, this is not a f**ing pop culture war anymore, by no means. And women out there tonight, don’t let any man f***ing lay his hands on you. Because Donald Trump is a poor excuse for a man, let alone a human being.”

The event broadcasted and streamed on Friday, October 21, on iHeartRadio.com/watchATT, and the AUDIENCE Network on DIRECTV Ch 239 or U-verse Ch 1114.
