This time around, the Honda crew are planning their biggest Random Act of Helpfulness to date. But unlike their competitors, they’ve taken it beyond the usual commercial ads during the Big Game.
With the Help of Secret Weapon Marketing, who are known for their unconventional and unexpected campaigns with evergreen messages, Honda will forgo their spot during the Big Game and instead turn it into a financial win for the youth at Boys & Girls Clubs all across Southern California. So basically, instead of dishing out millions of advertising dollars to try to duke it out with other companies, the Southern California Honda Dealers will reinforcing their belief of being helpful. How will they do that you say? Simple: by getting people involved in a fun game of Helpful Bowl.
For The Helpful Bowl 2017, fans are asked to help find typical ad clichés during Super Bowl 51! The more clichés you locate, the more the Guys in Blue will donate. You can also participate by tweeting @HelpfulHonda a photo of your completed scorecard. In addition to playing online, over 100 local pizzerias will deliver game boards to local residents who order pizza from their shop in hopes to encourage everyone in SoCal to play along.
