P.K. Subban, Mikaela Shiffrin, and More Play Musical Chairs — with a Twist!

Everyone loves a good round of musical chairs, but when you throw in athletes like P.K. Subban, Mikaela ShiffrinIbtihaj Muhammad and P.J. Tucker, the opportunities for ongoing fun are endless!

In the Michael Strahan-hosted Shake N’ Break challenge, the athletes gave the classic Musical Chairs dance game a sporty twist, dancing popular viral dances in the Shake Zone and breaking funny and messy items in the Break Zone, ending with a race through a sneaker box wall to be the first to hit the buzzer and win the chance to present the first award.

Shaun White, the ShibSibs, and Chloe Kim Race to Slime the Cast of Knight Squad

Another one of our favorite moments from Kids’ Choice Sports HAD to be the Battle Courts Royale! Hosted by JoJo Siwa, sibling duo Maia and Alex Shibutani competed AGAINST each other with Shaun White and Chloe Kim, respectively, to test their throwing accuracy.

In the challenge, the two teams raced against each other in shopping carts, tossing out t-shirts to the audience in a race to hit a final target and trigger the dunking of their Nickelodeon Knight Squad teammate into a tank holding 1500 gallons of slime. Who won and who get slimed? You’ll have to watch the full show to find out!

Danica Patrick Gets Honored with Legend Award (And Slimed in Gold Slime)

We we love every athlete that’s been honored with the Legend Award at Kids’ Choice Sports, we were SO happy to see none other than Danica Patrick be recognized for her trailblazing achievements and outstanding sportsmanship in the racing community. Upon receiving her golden mohawked award, Patrick received the ultimate honor, being doused from head to toe in glistening gold slime!

Snowboarder Chloe Kim accepts the Don’t Try This at Home award onstage during the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports 2018 at Barker Hangar on July 19, 2018 in Santa Monica, California.

Chloe Kim Wins the “Don’t Try This At Home” Award

2018 has been such a stand out year for Chloe Kim. The snowboarding teen and queen of the HalfPipe shattered records in women’s snowboarding this season, ultimately winning the Olympic gold medal after landing back to back 1080s in her run. The trick is SUPER difficult and definitely tops the “don’t try this at home” list, which only makes it appropriate that she took home the mohawk blimp for her skills. Congrats, Chloe!

Snowboarder Shaun White accepts the Winter Wonders award onstage during the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports 2018 at Barker Hangar on July 19, 2018 in Santa Monica, California.

Shaun White is the King of Winter Wonders

We still can’t get over Shaun White‘s epic win at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics in February, and it seems like kids all over the world continue to talk about it, too! Fresh off snagging his tenth ESPY on Wednesday, White was presented with the Winter Wonders award during the show. With the type of tricks he shows off in the HalfPipe, Shaun should win this award EVERY year.

Kids’ Choice Sports Host Chris Paul Gets Slimed

A Kids’ Choice Awards show isn’t officially over until the host gets slimed, and Chris Paul got absolutely DRENCHED in green goo on Thursday afternoon. To celebrate the return of Double Dare, Liza Koshy and Marc Summers brought the iconic Double Care obstacle course to Kids’ Choice Sports. In a special end-of-show moment, host Chris Paul fulfilled a childhood fantasy, running the super-sized and super messy course in a head-to-head showdown against the most decorated Olympian in history, Michael Phelps.
