‘Homeland’ star #RupertFriend to replace #PaulWalker in ‘Agent 47’

After the sudden death of actor Paul Walker many of his projects were put on hold but it seems like now Fox International production of ‘Agent 47′ has found their replacement. The ‘Homeland’ actor Rupert Friend will take on Walker’s role as the star of ‘Agent 47′ who has participated in British pieces such as ‘Young Victoria‘ and ‘Pride and Prejudice’ .

The film ‘Agent 47′ is a sequel to the movie ‘Hitman’ released in 2007 starring Timothy Olyphant which was based on the Square Enix video game. The first movie managed to make $92 million worldwide due to the popularity of the video game over seas.

Paul Walker’s commitment to the film was a great contribution to getting the green light. The 20th Century Fox is in charge of distribution but Fox International and Square Enix had the drive to get the film up and going.
