Grammy winning recording artist Maroon 5 debuted their new single “Payphone” featuring Wiz Khalifa live on the smash hit show The Voice. The song is now available on iTunes and is the first track to surface from the band’s highly anticipated fourth album Overexposed, due out June 26th. The album was executive produced by Max Martin (Katy Perry, Pink, Britney Spears) with additional tracks produced by Benny Blanco (“Moves Like Jagger”) and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder.
Maroon 5’s musicianship and front man Adam Levine’s vocals are as distinct as ever on Overexposed. The band began writing and recording the album during their most recent world tour, and the resulting collection is chock-full of undeniable, anthemic melodies. Overexposed features 12 new songs, including such standout tracks as the emphatic single “Payphone” featuring Wiz Khalifa, the irresistible “One More Night,” and the rhythmic ballad “Beautiful Goodbye.”
Overexposed is available for pre-order now on iTunes and will be released in multiple formats, including CD, digital download, and a deluxe edition including vinyl, postcards, and a t-shirt. Maroon 5 is also releasing a special Songs About Jane 10th Anniversary re-issue on June 5th, which will feature demos, unreleased material, videos and more.
