How Celebs Connect and Save Our Lives… Cultivating a Style That’s Entirely Ours

Louise Roe and Jacey Duprie hosted a shopping event at women’s fashion store, INTERMIX  to support critical, life-saving and life-changing care for children. The event took place on Saturday, March 31st at the stores Beverly Hills location donating 10% of proceeds to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and collecting a strong contribution to the Make March Matter campaign. Sales proved lucrative as the shops collection of designers from Alexander McQueen to R13 were purchased at the register.

According to INTERMIX President, Jythio Rao, “The INTERMIX woman has always projected style with undeniable confidence.” As a witness, the undeniable confidence shown by Louise and Jacey spread to their fans, as they gallantly joined shoppers in writing and decorating inspiring postcards for the young patients at CHLA.

“The reality is that the federal government doesn’t have the kind of resources that it use to to take care of all the issues. Every dollar that is spent on child health in the past may not be there anymore. Those kind of dollars have always been hard to get and even harder under the current administration. So we rely more and more on fundraising from companies and individuals…We just don’t have another route to this. – Dr. Manish Butte Chief of the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology at the University of California, Los Angeles.

These leading ladies are the stars of the show in fashion representing the #cultivatestyle of INTERMIX as Super Heroines. As they set the stage for the fashion industry, they are going the extra mile by making strides in health, stimulating positive change in medical research and ultimately saving the lives of future generations.
