Our favorite vampire series is coming to an end.
Even though nothing officially has been released, it looks like CW’s The Vampire Diaries upcoming eight season will be its last. Ian Somerhalder revealed the heart breaking news at the 2016 WalkerStalkerCon on Sunday (April 10) in Nashville.
“We have decided to do one last season to really do the story justice,†Ian said.
This news comes just days after Kat Graham confirmed that season eight would be her last.
“Season eight will be my last season,†Graham, revealed “I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me. … The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family.”
The Vampire Diaries season seven finale is set to air May 13.
