La Roux’s leading lady, Elly Jackson, recently sat down with MTV to talk about her “In For The Kill” collaborator, Kanye West.  In theinterview, Elly praises Kanye for not being afraid to work with some of the hottest artists out there on his new record.  “What I really liked was the aspect of his idea of using all the best people you have at your fingertips, that people don’t seem to do that … and I think that was kind of his point with this record,” Elly explained to MTV News.

Elly is featured on “All Of the Lights” from Kanye’s new album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy which came out yesterday.  Elly and Kanye’s chemistry is displayed even further with this week’s leak of “That’s My Bitch” from the upcoming Kanye/Jay-Z album Watch the Throne which features Elly on vocals.

La Roux has a lot to celebrate with “In For The Kill” hitting the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Chart this week.  Their self-titled debut album is available now via Cherrytree/Interscope Records.

They swept the MuchMusic Video Awards earlier this year taking home “Video of the Year” and “Pop Video of the Year,” now the Canadian pop/rock band Hedley is ready to conquer the States. Hedley’s U.S. debut, The Show Must Go, will be released on December 7th.

The visually stunning music video for Hedley’s U.S. debut single, “Perfect,” has already garnered more than 1.8 million views on Youtube. Lead singer, Jacob Hoggard, who finished third on Canadian Idol back in 2004, showcases his trademark Falsetto on the piano power ballad.

“We’ve been dying to get down to the U.S.,” admits Hoggard. “Once people pick up on us, they won’t put us down. We’re just real guys and that comes out in our music. There’s no disconnect between what we are and what we do. What you see is what you get. People like hanging out with us and seeing what we do next.”

Fans can pre-order The Show Must Go on Amazon and “Perfect” is available now on iTunes.

The third and final Body Talk album from Robyn is available in stores and online today via Cherrytree Records.  Robyn’s latest collection contains 15 tracks, including five brand new songs plus five tracks each from Body Talk Pt. 1 and Body Talk Pt. 2.

The new collection illustrates the breadth of Robyn’s recent collaborations – from Diplo (Dancehall Queen), Kleerup (In My Eyes) and SnoopDogg (U Should Know Better) to Röyksopp (None of Dem), Savage Skulls (Love Kills) and, of course, her longtime producer Klas Ahlund, who was instrumental in making the Body Talk trilogy. “Time Machine,” one of the new tracks featured on Body Talk, brings Robyn and super producer, Max Martin, together again for the first time since he produced tracks on her debut album, Robyn Is Here, released in 1997.
