Justin Timberlake Lends Vocals On Little Big Town & Pharrell Song

Justin Timberlake is embracing his Southern roots. The singer secretly recorded vocals for Little Big Town and Pharrell’s new song “C’mon” now the cat is out of the bag! The track will appear on the band’s forthcoming album Wanderlust.
“We were in the same studio at the same time.” Pharrell tells ET. “So we had Justin in one room. Little Big Town in another room. Quite naturally, people are going to visit each other and Justin ended up singing on one of the songs. He sang background [vocals] on ‘C’mon’.”

“It was very fun, and he’s a Tennessee boy,” Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild added.

A few months ago Timberlake teased a collaboration when he posted a pic of him in the studio with the band with the caption: “NBD… Just writing with @littlebigtown This band is the truth!! So good!!!!” Now it’s official!

Timberlake and Pharrell have a long history of working together. It started back in 2002 when Pharrell’s production crew The Neptunes created the beat in NSYNC’s track “Girlfriend.” Most recent, Timberlake worked on the single “Brand New” for Pharrell’s latest album GIRL. And Pharrell worked with Timberlake on Justified, co-producing and co-writing many of the his hits, including “Senorita,” “Like I Love You” and “Rock Your Body.”
