Justin Timberlake Returns with No. 1 Single and Plans to Drop A New Album

Finally Justin. Finally!

It’s been almost three years since Justin Timberlake has dropped The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2 in 2013. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait that much longer!

The triple threat just dropped a new track titled “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, off Dreamworks Troll’s movie soundtrack. Timberlake is serving as the executive music producer on the soundtrack as well as voicing one of the characters for the movie named Branch.

“Can’t Stop the Feeling” is a total banger and has roared to No. 1 on the real-time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart after it released yesterday, May 6th. It’s upbeat and catchy and should definitely be added to your summer playlist.
The Trending 140 chart measures the acceleration of conversation around artists and their music.

Timberlake also released a video for the single featuring his Trolls co-stars, including Anna Kendrick, James Corden, and Kunal Nayyar (Raj on The Big Bang Theory). Check it out below!

Following this exciting news, in an interview with 97.1 AMP on Friday (May 6), the superstar said that he’s “definitely” working on a new album, but is not sure when he’ll be relasing it. “I don’t know exactly when I’m going to put it out but yeah, I’m definitely working on a new album,” he told Carson Daly on 97.1 AMP Radio. The 35-year old also hinted that his southern roots will influence his upcoming album.

“Growing up in Tennessee – very central of the country – Memphis is known as the birthplace of rock and roll, but also the home of the blues, but Nashville’s right down the street so there’s a lot of country music.”

Welcome back Justin – we missed you.
